My phone stopped letting me record audio in videos

Can anyone help with ideas
My 4a has stoppedetting me rexord audio with videos

In any app i can not record video it shows an x across where audio is.

I can rexord just audio in the vlice recorder but not in any app

Im using camer app it came loaded with and my pet sitter app time to pet

Start here:

Settings -> Privacy -> Permission Manager -> Camera

Settings -> Privacy -> Permission Manager -> Microphone

Settings -> Privacy -> Permission Manager -> Music & Audio

Worth going through each of these and only those apps you want/need to have relevent permissions do so.

Hello I just rechedk these and the camera definetly has microphone access allowed. if the phone was starting to get FULL would it disable it because of file size?

I figured it out there is a settings within the camera app at the topthere is a downward facing white arrow
when I opened that to expose more settings 9Within the app) the the option to INCLUDE AUDIO was turned OFF. Wow I never even saw this before not sure if my hand hit this in my pocket book or somthingbut it now works well, BOY OH BOY I am getting old.

You can also check this way. Settings -> Apps -> See all apps -> Camera -> Permissions and check under allowed and see if Microphone is Allowed.
