Hello Tucker,
Banking apps have been on of the more problematic apps for De-googled Phones. Not all of them will work on De-Googled phones. Some do. I know that the Fidelity banking app works on the ghost phone perfectly fine other than push notification service. The best thing to do is to download your banking app and see if it works or not. If it does not work, then you may have to resort to using your bank's web portal and making check deposits at a local branch. As we get more info as to what banking apps work with de-googled phones we will put this into a posting here in our forums.
Another option, that is not ideal and will give up some amount of privacy, is to create a seperate user account on your phone to install Google Play services on and use this user account for your banking and finacial apps that do not work on a de-Googled phone. Instructions on how to do this is in the recently post article linked below.
For sending and receiving money, I am using CashApp on my Ghost phone. It works great. I did have a slight issue at first in fully setting up my Cash App account. I could not fully set up everything through the App itself and had to do it through the Cash App website. Once I got my account fully set up to send and receive funds through the website version, the mobile app started functioning perfectly.
The Aurora Store is not working properly right now, so downloading an app from there might be difficult until they get their issues fixed. Seems Google is giving them a hard time. Right now for apps not on the f-droid store we are reccommending Aptoide until the Aurora store is fixed. You can download it from their site. https://en.aptoide.com/
I just finished up an article to help in getting started with the Ghost Phone that I would encourage you to check out. The article is here: https://forums.mark37.com/forum/all-about-phones-6/topic/getting-started-with-your-ghost-phone-50/ There is a downloadable PDF you can make use of as well.
