Transfer Apps

Transfer Apps

  By: Tucker713 on May 15, 2023, 8:23 a.m.

I recently purchased a ghost phone 6a. I have transferred most of the data from the old iPhone to the Ghost phone. However, there are some apps from the old phone that I would like to use. I have not been able to transfer the apps or figure out how to download these apps onto the Ghost phone. Most of these apps are for banking, finance, etc. Of course using this apps on the Ghost phone may be defeating the purpose of transitioning to the Ghost phone which I understand. I could use some guideance. You will need to explain it to me like I am a six-year old. I am a technology funcitonal iliterate.

Hello Tucker,

Banking apps have been on of the more problematic apps for De-googled Phones. Not all of them will work on De-Googled phones. Some do. I know that the Fidelity banking app works on the ghost phone perfectly fine other than push notification service. The best thing to do is to download your banking app and see if it works or not. If it does not work, then you may have to resort to using your bank's web portal and making check deposits at a local branch. As we get more info as to what banking apps work with de-googled phones we will put this into a posting here in our forums.

Another option, that is not ideal and will give up some amount of privacy, is to create a seperate user account on your phone to install Google Play services on and use this user account for your banking and finacial apps that do not work on a de-Googled phone. Instructions on how to do this is in the recently post article linked below.

For sending and receiving money, I am using CashApp on my Ghost phone. It works great. I did have a slight issue at first in fully setting up my Cash App account. I could not fully set up everything through the App itself and had to do it through the Cash App website. Once I got my account fully set up to send and receive funds through the website version, the mobile app started functioning perfectly.

The Aurora Store is not working properly right now, so downloading an app from there might be difficult until they get their issues fixed. Seems Google is giving them a hard time. Right now for apps not on the f-droid store we are reccommending Aptoide until the Aurora store is fixed. You can download it from their site. https://en.aptoide.com/

I just finished up an article to help in getting started with the Ghost Phone that I would encourage you to check out. The article is here: https://forums.mark37.com/forum/all-about-phones-6/topic/getting-started-with-your-ghost-phone-50/ There is a downloadable PDF you can make use of as well.

Shane,

Thank you for the information. Most helpful. I will probably end up on the side of privacy.

Shane,

This is great info. Thank you.

Regarding the CashApp - will it not be subject to the FedNow system like Venmo, Zelle, etc? It looks like you can file taxes on it, so it is linked to federal government in some way. Or maybe its not in the first round of those that have committed, but will be brought in later?

I have gotten off of the mainstream cash transfer apps and now use direct deposit and plan to phase into checks or cash. Would love it if CashApp is totally secure, but only want to go that way if its not going to mean backing myself back out of another system.

Thank you again.

Victoria,

Great, glad you found it informative! CashApp probably will be, if not already pluged into the FedNow system. But it seems to be a better alternative than PayPal and Venmo. Hopefully we all are working to disconect from the Cabal/anti-Christ system. Everyone one is at different stages, the main thing is that you are honestly and purposelfully making steps in the right direction.

You should check out Liberty dollar: https://ldfa.nl
This link tells about them and how they got started. https://ldfa.nl/page/16

We will soon be accepting Liberty dollars as a payment method.
