transfer from old Android/LG ThinQ8 with limited Google apps to Pixel 5a

I would like to transfer messages (Google messaging?), Memo (Google?), and contacts (Google) to my new Ghost phone. Am I posing a risk to let Google driven apps be downloaded onto my deGoogled phone? Should I do this? Can I do this? How do I do this if I can? I did see a previous post about transferring. It really did not explain how to do to a phone, more to a computer. I do have a USB stick backup of the Googled phone from about month ago with a full backup as far as I know. I am not a very tech person so it has to be in layman's language/step by step instruction if possible. Or can you direct me to a relevant previous post that answers my concerns? Thank you.

Details on how to migrate all of these things (contacts, messages, etc.) can be found in our "Getting Started" guide found here -> https://forums.mark37.com/forum/all-about-ghost-phones-6/topic/getting-started-with-your-ghost-phone-50/
