Virtual Credit Cards

What are your thoughts on Virtual Credit Cards? I have been researching them, but not sure I am 100% sold on them. You still have to provide your bank account information when signing up online. I have been buying, with cash, the prepaid credit cards from the store and been using those to make purchases online. I don't do a great deal online but for some items where I have a monthly fee, these would be handy instead of using my reqular credit card or my bank debit card. Appreciate it.

I'm of the same opinion. Use a prepaid debit card to remain anon when purchasing online. If someone can convince me otherwise, I'm all ears but I feel like the different virtual cards are solving a problem that's already been solved.
