Understand that when you create a new user profile your SIM/eSIM does not automatically transfer over to the new environment. You can do this within the settings of the environment.

This is likely why it does not recognize you have service.

I'm of the same opinion. Use a prepaid debit card to remain anon when purchasing online. If someone can convince me otherwise, I'm all ears but I feel like the different virtual cards are solving a problem that's already been solved.

Camera functions do not change at all, simply the application that utilizes and manages the camera on the device. You'll find the vast majority of the functions that Google has on their camera app are also used for the GrapheneOS camera app.

The Pixel 7 Pro camera seems to rely heavily on software processing, so I'm not clear on how a change of OS will affect the camera functions. What should I expect in this regard? Especially, the zoom functions.
