You can also check this way. Settings -> Apps -> See all apps -> Camera -> Permissions and check under allowed and see if Microphone is Allowed.

Hello Peter,

Go to settings and in the search bar, search for file. It should show File transfer options. Click on this and below use USB for, select File Transfer. This should now allow you to transfer photos over USB.
